The Sungazer observatory was completed in 1 month with plans from Wayne Parker of Sky Sheds. Wayne is also a guitarist for the Canadian band Glass Tiger and played on their 1986 hit “Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone)“.
It can be can be operated manually or by remote control. A weather sensor monitors the sky and will automatically stow the telescope and close the roof if clouds or rain appears.
